Propellers, stern gear, outboards, inboards

SEAJET products will minimise the fouling growth on these areas. These areas receive a lot of punishment due to cavitation, so repainting can be a required yearly, but it is often worth it to improve speed through the water. Our systems are the same for all surfaces, whether bronze, aluminium or plastic.

Pre-treatment:
Remove all old anti-fouling and contamination from the surface to be coated.
Degrease using SEAJET BOATWASH. Rinse with fresh water. For bronze surfaces: Key the surface by abrading using 80–120 grade abrasive wet and dry.
For aluminium, factory painted outboards and out drives: P-220 abrasive paper is recommended to provide a physical key.
